Thank you. Classic Message Revival or Judgement by Evangelist David Nunn The Bible teaches that there is a time for everything. There is a time to be born, a time to die; a time to rejoice and a time to cry. In Hosea 10:12 the prophet declares, "It is time to seek the Lord until He comes and rain righteousness upon us." It is time now for us to seek the Lord for revival, a time of refreshing from the Father. Today we must have a revival that will restore integrity to our nation. The moral fiber of this country needs mending and there must be a move of the Spirit that will bring full pardon to this land, and the blessings of God restored to this country. We have been appalled at the voting of our political leaders the past several years. The deteriorating standards of education, morality, and ethical behavior are leading us down a pathway to destruction. These standards have become corrupt because God is no longer welcome in them. Prayer has been taken from our schools. Morality has no biblical basis for its guidelines. Ethics have become a word associated with situations instead of righteous behavior. The Bible is clear, "Righteousness exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people". The immorality of our day is sure to bring the terrible judgements of God upon us if we do not turn and repent. The sad fact is that our nation is sick and the Church is not much better. She has accepted "Rolaids type relief" when what she really needs is a total operation that will remove the cancer of sin and unbelief that is destroying her. We must have a revival. There is a stirring that has awakened some of the old line denominations as God is restoring Holy Ghost power, but until there is a restoring of holiness to the Church we will not have the fullness of the revival God desires to send us. We rejoice for the blessings of God that are being poured out, and the spirit of revival that has come into some churches, but I tell you we must have a revival that will affect the nation: A revival that will cause the Church to influence the morals of each city and state in the nation. It is for a great move of God that will restore sanctification and holiness to the Church and the United States. True revival will produce a change in our behavior. Our lying and cheating will cease, our unclean practices will stop and new priorities will be established in our lives. We will change play time to pray time. The study of God's word will return to our homes. The flesh will be crucified and the Spirit will gain ascendancy once again in our lives. We must have a true revival of holiness and power, and it is time for it now. It is the one and only great hope for our country. Many of us feel that we are in the closing chapter of the world, as we now know it. Every sign of immorality, the deadness in our churches, the situations in parts of the world where wars break out, and the problems that continue to arise in the Middle East, show us that the time of Jesus' coming is upon us. We are in the midnight call. Can we not hear the Bridegroom calling? The appearance of Christ in the heavens for His saints is so near, and God is getting His people prepared by awakening us to the call of revival. Oh saints of God, let us cry out now. Let us yield to the conviction the Holy Spirit is giving. We must repent and see God's greatest hour of glory before the Judgement shall fall.
